I am a freelance writer and editor in New York City. Besides my travel writing and other editorial work, I also write proposals, white papers, and a wide range of internal and external communications for corporate clients, and am available for projects large and small. 

My journalism career began when I was hired as an international reporter for Forbes, where I traversed the globe covering topics ranging from online banking in Brazil to solo exploring on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. Having "grown up" professionally at a top business magazine renowned for its rigorous editorial standards helped instill a keen attention to detail and accuracy in my writing, along with a knack for immersive storytelling. I'm a regular contributor to Forbes.com; my work has also appeared in Condé Nast Traveler, Fortune, HuffPost, Global Traveler, Maxim, Modern Bride, Parents, and Self, among other publications. A Philadelphia-area native, I graduated from the University of Virginia. 

When I'm not writing, I'm usually dreaming of Italy and planning my next trip there. I also love taking pictures; all photos on this site are my own.
